My journey began with survival. Today it's about becoming.

A few years ago, I was surviving.

Today, I'm building a life—and a mission—I once thought was impossible.

The Good Part exists to help people navigate difficult conversations, rebuild trust in themselves, and create lives they don't need to escape from.

My Story

I didn't set out to build a brand.

I set out to build a life that felt authentic.

Over the years, I've experienced seasons that challenged my confidence, my identity, and the way I saw my future. Some happened in my personal life. Others happened through my career, where I've spent years helping leaders navigate conflict, difficult decisions, and some of the most complex moments people face at work.

What I realized is that the conversations we avoid are often the ones that shape us the most.

The conversation that sets a boundary.

The conversation that changes a career.

The conversation that rebuilds trust.

The conversation that helps us choose ourselves.

Over time, I learned that growth doesn't happen all at once. It happens through small decisions made consistently—showing up when it's uncomfortable, leading with integrity, and choosing progress over perfection.

Those lessons changed the way I lead, the way I communicate, and ultimately, the way I live.

That's why I created The Good Part.

It's a place where leadership and personal growth meet.

Where difficult conversations become opportunities for clarity.

Where healing and professional development aren't treated as separate journeys, but as different expressions of the same work: becoming the person you're meant to be.

Whether I'm speaking to a room of executives, coaching someone through a major life transition, or sharing a personal story on the podcast, my mission is the same:

To help people navigate difficult conversations, make intentional decisions, and build lives and careers they don't need to escape from.

Because the good part isn't someday.

It's happening right now.

We are becoming.

Today, I serve as a Senior HR Leader overseeing workplace relations for more than 14,000 associates across the United States. Alongside my corporate career, I speak, write, and build The Good Part—a space dedicated to helping people navigate difficult conversations, intentional decisions, and meaningful growth.

What I Believe

Growth isn't found in one life-changing moment.
It's built through consistent choices.

Boundaries are an act of self-respect.
They protect what matters most.

Leadership begins with leading yourself.
The conversations you avoid eventually become the ones you need.

The good part isn't someday.
It's created by how you choose to live today.

"Whenever I've come to Jamie with a question or concern, she listens deeply and asks thoughtful, probing questions that bring clarity and insight. Those conversations have consistently helped me gain perspective and move forward with confidence."

— Deborah Daniels, Former Colleague

"Jamie is truly supportive and has a natural way of putting people at ease. She takes the time to personally talk through difficult situations, remains consistent in her guidance, and creates a genuine partnership that makes a meaningful difference."
